David Flynn
Apr 19, 2018Flynn, 60, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, April 16 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born December 21, 1957 in Norfolk, VA, a son of Gladys Luriela (Flaherty) Flynn and the late Robert Jefferson Flynn.David was an active member of Faith Baptist Church. At the church, he was a Sunday School Teacher who enjoyed working with kids and was also an AWANA leader. He was the Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy Services for 16 years at WVU Medicine. He was very active in the Morgantown community and currently served as Chair of the Board at Healthright and was vice president of the Mon County Transit. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, going on beach trips, and riding his Harley.He is survived by his wife, Janet (Napiecek) Flynn; children, Christopher, Daniel, Gregory, and Caroline Flynn; sister, Lori Lamb and her husband Jerry; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Flynn.Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, April 20 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Visitation will continue at Faith Baptist Church, 809 Greenbag Rd., Morgantown on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Treg Spicer and Pastor Bennie Moran officiating. A committal service will take place at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 509 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh PA on Monday, April 23 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at the Mt.
